Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. Mark Arabia attended St.Barts Northeast Catholic School.

Seeking a higher education Mr. Arabia enrolled into the University of Temple in pursuits of a business degree. During the (1987) spring semester Mark Arabia, had a sudden change of heart. Braving the toughest decision to date. Mark Arabia dedicated himself to his dreams of becoming a local successful entrepreneur.

1988 Pets Plus was born, as a child Mark Arabia was always disgusted by the less than average pet store. During the 80's your average pet store was filthy, stinky, the lack of compassion and care for their animals where clearly evident. Mr. Arabia had envision stores that cared for their animals, encouraged healthy natural feeding.

Overall Pets Plus's slogans clearly state our business mission.

-Is still religiously practiced, at our locations. The term comes from the concept of doing the opposite from the neglectful stores of the past. Pets Plus is molded upon compassion, care and knowledge of our animals. Our friendly, highly educated staff is always readily available to assist with any questions or concerns.

Cancer and Kidney failure are presently still the highest cause of death in our loved ones. Mr. Arabia short hair Persian was another unsuspected victim of deceptive cat & dog food ingredients.

Unknowingly Mr. Arabia himself was feeding Snowball unhealthy foods, containing cancer-causing agents. Since the passing of Snowball, Mr. Arabia & Staff have made it their agenda to educate every customer that passes through Pets Plus's doors. Everyday it is their duty to ensure that every customer understands that "chicken- byproducts" are immensely harmful for their cats and dogs. "Never would we want another family to endure the pain and loss of a beloved pet", Snowball wasn't just Mr. Arabia's family cat but a member of the family.
